TUXG Hosting is committed to 99.9% monthly service (http, ftp, pop, imap, smtp) uptime on all hosting plans that we offer. Should we fail to deliver this for any given calendar month, affected client(s) will be credited the pro-rata refund into their accounts for the duration of excessive downtime (or amount credited to their account). The way we calculate this amount is:
Refunds are issued if we notice downtimes exceeding the SLA which affected all our hosting clients. In such cases, our clients need not claim them as we issue refunds proactively, acknowledging such downtimes.
Refunds can also be claimed by clients by sending the downtime details to info at tuxghosting.com in the first week of the following month. For example, if you notice downtime in October, you can send claim emails by 7th November. TUXG Hosting can offer refunds only if our monitoring systems support such claims.
Scheduled downtime, planned maintenance, malicious attacks (such as DDOS) are not covered under the guarantee. (Refer to our uptime monitor here which checks our services every two minutes. And here are our server uptime details).
TUXG Hosting guarantees that if you are not happy with our hosting service for some reason, you can cancel your account within 30 days and we will issue a full refund. No questions asked.
